Making a Turn – Neutral Zone

Making a Turn – Neutral Zone

“It’s not so much that we are afraid of change or so in love with the old ways. It’s that space in between. It’s like being between trapezes. It’s Linus when his blanket is in the dryer. There is nothing to hold on to.”  Marilyn Ferguson

It’s an important time when reorientation and redefinition must take place.

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.” Philippians 3:12

Philippians 3:12-14   1 John 3:2

  • The neutral zone can be frightening. It represents the unknown.
  • The neutral zone can be freeing.
  • The neutral zone can be forming.

Because it is a place of un-creation for re-creation, the neutral zone can be a time of freedom and creativity. This is the place where we are made fit for a new beginning.

Take Away:

  • The neutral zone is not to be feared, but embraced.
  • The neutral zone is a place where creativity and freedom can thrive.
  • Recognize that coming out of the neutral zone experience you’re prepared for the new beginning ahead.
