Using our heavenly Father, and not our earthly fathers, as the model, we are to:
- Love and care for your children like your heavenly Father loves and cares
- Be Present – your children would rather have and need your presence and time
- Discipline your children
- Correction is not ever harsh or brutal, but done in love, with love, and for love
- Instruct your children
- This is your duty and responsibility in Christ
