What a Vision is Not
A dream. A vision, often begins with a dream.
Goals and objectives. Goals and objectives are part of the plan to make the vision a reality.
A mission. A vision is a picture of the mission accomplished.
What is a Vision
* A clear and challenging picture of the future, as you believe it can and must be.
* Vision sees, passion feels.
* Fosters risk taking
* People with a compelling vision are willing to take risks.
* The right vision provides meaning to life, lending a sense of divine purposes.
* If people aren’t challenged, there really is no vision.
A vision can be:
* A good vision rests firmly in reality, and is highly feasible.
A vision must be:
* Once you see and grasp the vision of what can be, you will never be satisfied with what is.
1. Pray.
1. A specific prayer about the dream becoming a vision.
2. Vision is always in line with the mission.
2. Think Big
1. Small visions don’t motivate.
3. Brainstorm
1. Write and then organize your thoughts.
4. Keep asking questions
1. Is the vision clear?
2. Is the vision challenging?
3. Is the vision passion inspiring?
5. Be patient
