Here I Am Send Me

Here I Am Send Me

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here I am! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

We don’t simply gather! As Christians, God’s expectation of us is that we are doing something to make a difference.

Sin is the world’s enduring problem. The gospel is the cure and God has made His people the conduit of the cure. The world has issues: racism, classism, sexism, poverty, violence, hatred, jealousy, war, division, gossip, back-biting etc. It is beset with a problem that has only one cure.

God has always used willing and ordinary people to accomplish his extraordinary vision.

  • You’ve been appointed to go into the world to represent the Kingdom of God and it’s Christ.
  • You’ve been given authority as those appointed and sent by God. We have the right and the might to fulfill Christ’s mission.
  • You’ve been appointed by God to be a hero of the Gospel.

“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. And He said to them, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.”  Luke 10:1-3
