The Gideon Complex is an involuntarily adopted mindset caused from prolonged exposure to negative reinforcement.
There is only one cure for the Gideon Complex: closeness with the Almighty God; intimacy with the Father of creation.
Closeness with God gives you confidence in yourself. Closeness with God will undo all the damage done by the prolonged exposure to negative reinforcement.
