More Than An Event

More Than An Event

Luke 24:13- 35
We ought to be able to remember his Word to encourage ourselves.
We exalt Easter so much that we make it out to be the biggest Sunday ever that it seems no other Sunday masters.
If I believe it’s only about events, I will only engage in an event that I perceive as significant to me.
Is your fellowship with God based on a calendar of events?  #MoreThanAnEvent
Resurrection Sunday has passed, but the importance of fellowship with Christ remains.
It’s more than an event.
We cannot waste a moment in cultivating our relationship with Christ.  It doesn’t take long for our fellowship to disappear.
It doesn’t take long for fellowship to dissipate.
There are no vacations when it comes to my fellowship with my Christ.
When fellowship dissipates my recognition grows dim.
Without fellowship our eyes grow dim.
This Sunday is as equally important as Easter Sunday.
Loving God through worship.
Loving others through fellowship.
Once you missed 2 Sundays, its easy to miss another Sunday and another.  The fellowship dissipates.  The devil starts to talk to you.
Relationships take commitment.
Without fellowship our understanding darkens.
Jesus became known to them while breaking the bread in fellowship.
